             Who We Are and What We Do
                                      (Band Bio)

is a South Florida based band, located in Palm Beach County, Florida. We are a six (6) piece group with a
very full sound. Our instrumentation is: lead guitar, bass guitar, saxophone, keyboard, (or second guitar)
drums, and a very talented, attractive, female vocalist. Male members in the band sing solo and back up
also. Our music is Modern Blues, (Texas, Memphis, Chicago, New Orleans, Los Angeles-West Coast,
& Mississippi Delta) Rock, Soul, Vintage Rhythm & Blues, and standards. (Songs in our repertoire
include songs from the following artists: B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Susan Tedeschi,
Eric Clapton, Albert King, Robert Cray, Marcia Ball, Lou Ann Barton, Pinetop Perkins, Robben Ford,
Angela Strehli, Etta James, KoKo Taylor, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Ann Peebles, Eva Cassidy, Chuck Berry,
Slim Harpo, Shemekia Copeland, Toni Braxton, Janiva Magness, Buddy Guy, Irma Thomas, Gary Moore,
Junior Wells, Greg Allman, Johnny Lang, "Screamin" Jay Hawkins, Lonnie Mack)

Additionally, we perform specialty songs for the occasion-ie: Valentines Day, Christmas, as well as Vintage
R& B songs from the 60's and 70's. (The Pointer Sisters, Martha and The Vandella's, Aretha Franklin,
Junior Walker, Booker T and The M.G.'s etc.)

The band was formed to play the better clubs, events, and functions in the South Florida and general Florida
area and is comprised of musicians that have been playing music since childhood. Each has been carefully
selected not only for their musical abilities, but for their personal attributes as well. The band has created a
quality, entertaining, friendly show as well as top notch music. The band's focus is on the entire group as
opposed to some bands that focus and center on one particular member. We, the members of The Deja-Blue
Band, take a great deal of pride in the band's history, past performances, reputation, and standards. That's
why we have included photos going back to day one. We are time tested , proven, and strive for successful
relationships with our clients and venues.
While we do perform locally in the South Florida area, we are not limited to this particular geographical area,
however, and will travel to other locations be it so required.

Music is our passion and we are committed to the group for the love of the music we perform.
